Gael Love Poem

I stumbled across some Gael words and thought to create a love poem using these terms of endearment.  Of course, they are and can be used alone, but when I put all the words together, then the combination of Love Words becomes quite tantalizing.  And so, I call my poem... Ceol na Helena!

Ceol na Helena

Ceol (Kyol) – Music, song, vigour. THE RHYTHM WITHIN US.
Dathúil (DA-hoo-il) – Good-looking.
A PLEASURE TO THE EYES.
This Irish word literally means ‘coloured’ or ‘colourful’, and is used to describe beauty and comeliness of appearance.
Leannán (LAN-awn) – Lover PERFECTION IN OUR HEARTS
To say that love is blind in Irish, one says ‘a lover sees no fault’.
Taisce (TASH-ka) – Store, treasure, hoard THAT WHICH WE VALUE
This Irish word can be used as a term of endearment, as in A thaisce! (a-HASH-ka), meaning ‘My darling!’.

A thaisce, tú dathúil,
Ceol is leannán!  

My Darling,
You are a Pleasure
to the Eyes,
The Rhythm within us
is perfection in our Hearts!

Wise Words of the Ancient Ones

There are three foundations of Wisdom:

1. discretion in learning
2. memory in retaining
3. eloquence in telling

To say.... choose carefully what you wish to learn. Because there is so much information out there & literally right at our fingertips, only choose that which you need.  Develop your memory so you retain what you have learned.  Develop the art of speaking clearly about what you have learned; your wisdom is useless for sharing if you cannot reiterate your knowledge!
