Boru Jewellery is inspired by Irelands' last great king, with a desire to replicate the values, heritage, skills and craftsmanship that go into making exquisite handmade Celtic jewelry.
After two centuries of Viking domination, Brian Boru became the last High King of all Ireland in 1002. His patriotism and personal sacrifice brought warring clans together, under one king, for the only time in Irish history. Boru earned his name as Brian of the Tributes' by collecting monies from the Chieftains of Ireland and using it to restore monasteries and places of learning that had been destroyed during the invasions. Capable and energetic, Brian Boru established himself as a patron of the arts and learning, and presided over a period of great craftsmanship of jewelry, incredible manuscripts and intricate stone masonry.
Boru is producing a high quality premium product range, with established market acceptance, both in Ireland and internationally.

Guinness was founded in Dublin in 1759. It was first brewed by Arthur Guinness in a disused brewery. Arthur started by brewing Dublin ale, but soon diversified into 'porter' — so-called because of its popularity with market porters. This was a fairly new beer, characterised by its dark colour acquired through the roasted barley used in its brewing process. The O'Neill harp and Arthur Guinness' signature was introduced as a trademark label in 1862. Guinness was widely recognised as a brewery committed to research which employed science graduates as brewers. Guinness Limited now has breweries in 51 countries worldwide and Guinness stout is drunk in 150 countries. Over 10 million glasses of Guinness stout are drunk every day worldwide

They started by producing a perfume called "Innisfree" named after the WB Yeats’ poem "The Lake Isle of Innisfree" , which the Yeats’ estate gave the young company permission to use with the perfume.
Inis is inspired by the sea, which gives us the colour, the energy, the freshness to infuse our scent and designs. Inis was launched in 1998 - the UN Year of the Oceans and the year of the Lisbon World Expo with its theme of 'The Oceans. A heritage for the future'. The best of Irish and French design, the bottle is a simple frosted flagon that lets the purity of the liquid shine through. The cap has been sculpted exclusively for Inis by the Parisian design house Ateliers Dinand and is reminiscent of two large glass pebbles one could find on a beach. The carton has been designed by one of the leading and most cutting-edge Irish designers, Adrian Crilly, and embodies entirely our message about the importance and energy of the sea, working through colour and shape.

The very first ‘Hanna’ hat was created in 1964 and it took four and a half hours to complete. It was called the ‘Hanna Hat’ and given the style number ’84′. In 1924 David Hanna snr. started a small tailoring firm in the townland of Donegal on Ireland’s north-west coast. Because of the decline in the market for bespoke tailored suits, he then decided to specialise in the making of handcrafted hats and caps. Hanna Hats of Donegal are unique as all of the styles are cut to patterns designed by Hanna Hats and assembled by hand at the factory in Donegal Town. Only the finest Donegal tweed (pure new wool) is used; woven exclusively for Hanna Hats. Hanna Hats have become world famous; One only has to pick up a ‘Hanna’ hat or cap to see that the quality tailored look has been retained completely. Take a tour & see how the famous Hanna Hats of Donegal Ltd. are made: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4pTc6oWVtaM

Heathergems is a unique and imaginative range of Scottish jewellery and giftware, made in Pitlochry, Scotland from natural heather stems. Heathergems are the only manufacturers of this unique Scottish product anywhere in the world.
A division of Charles Buyers & Co Ltd, Heathergems is a family run business based in Pitlochry, Scotland. Heathergems have been produced since the 1950s, shortly after the Second World War. There was a shortage of wood and certain types were rationed and could only be used for limited purposes.
A group of four men set up a workshop near Loch Lomond, where they used small branches of beech wood compressed together to produce flooring tiles. The process was too expensive to produce a floor and only lasted a short time. Hugh Kerr a craftsman from Glenlivet developed the process using heather stems and started making Heathergems in very small quantities in his own workshop.
Heathergems are now stocked in many shops throughout the UK and across the world.
